Eligibility

All qualified Afghans residing in the EU and holding at least a Bachelor’s degree are encouraged to apply. The PAEP-EU programme places qualified Afghans in the public sector for the Islamic Transitional Administration of Afghanistan. The selection of candidates is dependent solely on the employer’s needs. The PAEP-EU program will then contact successful applicants in order to arrange for their departure to Afghanistan.
Travel

The PAEP –EU programme will organize and fund round trip air travel for all participants.

In addition, experts will be entitled to two paid home leave tickets if they hold a 12 month contract. Experts with a 6 month contract will be entitled to one paid home leave ticket will be provided by the project.

Compensation Package

Candidates will be offered a maximum of a 12 month contract. The contract will be proposed according to the specifications laid down in the Terms of Reference for the specific position and the availability of the appointee taking into account his/her residence status in the host country.

The program offers a generous benefits package and additional support upon your return to Afghanistan to facilitate your re-entry into the country and enhance your working experience.

Salary for each position will be based on a two-level salary scale.  All positions will be for either senior or mid-level advisors.

To encourage the active participation of women there is an additional monetary benefit for women who are selected to participate in the programme.
